Ibak Mainline Pipe Inspection Systems
Whether installed in a van or as a portable pipe inspection system, self-propelled on a remote-controlled camera tractor or operated with a glass-fiber pushrod, the MIDI system is the optimum solution with the latest technology and IBAK quality in the field of small-sized systems.
KRA65 is a robust, steerable camera tractor for the ORION and JUNO cameras. It is equipped with ATC, an electronic tilt-compensating function which guides the tractor back to the bottom of the sewer if it deviates away from this.
The camera tractor attachment FW6 can be mounted quickly in order to center the camera in 12" to 32" Ø pipes. Additionally the camera is lifted. In addition, the increased total weight and the high motor power of the KRA65 make longer operating ranges possible. The 180, extremely durable, high-efficiency LEDs of the lighthead ZSW65 are divided into 3 groups to ensure easy servicing and provide good illumination in larger-diameter pipes.

The control panel is designed for installation in the control center of an inspection vehicle. As the same modules are used as in the control box, it also has the same functions and technical possibilities.
KT180 and KW180 are the electric cable reels of the MIDI system for portable operation and permanent installation respectively. They both hold a maximum of 200 m of camera cable and have an integrated cable equalizing amplifier and a length measuring device with Hall sensors. The portable cable reel KT180 is light-weight and has rubber wheels and a long folding handle so that it can be moved easily. When the camera tractor reverses, the reel keeps the camera cable taut and facilitates the reverse movement of the tractor. The KW180 is equipped with a more powerful drive motor and an automatic level wind assembly to ensure that the cable is wound on in neat layers. In addition, a motor-driven hoist can be installed.
