The NEW IT Concepts iRis Videoscope system, released in early November 2009, offers big name features without the big name price. The high powered extra bright white light LED light source is integrated and well balanced in the handle yet the entire videoscope weighs only 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg). This is an inspection camera with true one handed operation and portability. Battery powered, the iRis gives 2 hours of continuous use before needing recharging, and batteries can be quickly changed out even in the field. The objectives are adjustable and interchangeable, each with a different field of view (FOV) option, F-stop, and working distance. IT Concepts iTools Imaging Hub offer an easy to use and very portable imaging system for iSeries videoscopes.  The iTools Imaging Hub can be operated out of the iCase or iCase+ or easily removed and taken with the user for maximum portability.  The system runs off of AC or via the battery belt to provide about 90 minutes of operation time:  The iTools Imaging Hub Features include:

iCapture Smart This is device is simple, easy to use and inexpensive.  It offers a crisp high resolution display, text generation and image capture via the compact flash card.  This system comes standard with Extreme Videoscope Systems and can be packaged with an iSeries Videoscope to provide an extremely economical and portable videoscope system.

 

     

 

iCase and iCase + and Accessories The iSeries would not be complete without the iCase and the iCase +.  Both of these cases are designed to allow a user to operate the iTools Imaging Hub from the case and to provide a stable and secure means of transporting and shipping the equipment.  The iCase provides an area for the iSeries  videoscope to wind around an internal drum.  This makes the scope easy to put away and stay safe from accidents and mishandling.  The iCase also provides a location for storage and operation of the iTools Imaging Hub.  There are compartments for optical tip adapters and power cables too.  The iCase+ provides an additional compartment for battery belt storage.

 

                                                                                         Rigidizers for 4mm, 6mm and 8mm videoscopes.  This handy device allows for the scope to be inserted and temporarily converted to a rigid instrument so that you can span large gaps and use it like you would have traditionally used a rigid borescope.  The Rigidizers are made from stainless steel tube and have an compression fitting so that the device is securely mounted to the videoscope without damaging the insertion tube.

 

 

 

Centering devices have long been used to aid in the inspection of tubes.  A centering device lifts the scope off of the bottom of a tube or pipe so that the user has a nice evenly illuminated image from the center of the pipe or tube.  Centering devices also aid in internal weld inspection so that tip articulation is not or minimally required to see an entire orbital weld.

 

 

 

Magic Arm: The best way to Mount, Carry and use a   videoscope system will vary depending on the application and the environment that you find yourself working.  In a shop environment it is often nice to sit the iTools Hub on a bench or in the case.  When you are in the field being able to mount the system or carry it on your body can make a bid efficiency difference.  The iTools Magic Arm system can be mounted for hands free work, it can be carried on a neck strap or secured on a magic arm in nearly any environment.
