                     Push Cameras and Robotic Pipe Crawlers

Atlas offers Remote Visual Inspection tools for pipe diameters as small as 1”  and up to 72” and larger, with a variety of distance capabilities up to 1,640’. The field of pipe inspection encompasses a wide variety of applications, and Atlas serves many industries, including: residential plumbing, municipal collection systems, potable water systems, oil and gas pipelines, large rotating equipment, and industrial pipelines.  Our equipment is designed for deployment in the harshest environments, with internal pressure to prevent ingress.

Our pipe inspection systems utilize several different methods, depending on the application. For example, we offer cameras built into rigid “push cables” for small  diameter lines and for distances under 300'. Another popular method, for larger pipes and across longer distances, is to integrate the optics into a remote operated robotic transporter that drags a flexible cable, for internal pipe diameters of 4” and up.  Another method offered involves mounting a camera to the end of a pole, for a quick look into a pipe from the access point.  Also, many of our pipe inspection systems can be used for drop-down inspections for manholes, vaults, boreholes, or confined spaces where manned entry is not desirable.
