Universal Roller Skid Added to Atlas Inspection Technologies Product Line

Atlas Inspection Technologies, an industry leader in remote visual inspection equipment including pipe camera and push camera products and services, has added Rabco Universal Roller Skids to its product line.

Rabco produces two models, the Universal Roller Skid for 6” to 12” lines and the Rabco Mini Roller Skid for lines 4” to 6” lines. Both systems allow push camera systems to inspect pipeline previously requiring tractor systems. These models come with a 2 year warranty.

The Rabco Universal Roller Skid adapts portable push camera video inspection equipment for use in pipe lines 6” to 12” and larger. Designed for most standard push cameras under 2 inches in diameter, these universal roller skis are constructed of corrosion resistant durable and light weight composite nylon.

Three pivoting arms keep the camera head centered and stable in the pipeline while six rugged nylon wheels roll the skid easily through the pipe. A safety harness, standard on all models insures secondary and/or emergency retrieval. Optional auxiliary flashlights are available for additional lightening and provides 6,000 candlepower each.

The Rabco Mini Roller Skid is for 4”to 6” pipeline and uses eight wheels mounted on the skid to move the camera easily through pipes including 90 degree bends and minimizes wear and tear on your push camera inspection equipment.

Atlas has tested the Rabco Universal Roller Skids extensively and believes that users will find this accessory a valuable asset to extending both the life and the capability of push camera equipment.

Atlas Inspection Technologies will be exhibiting at the 2008 Central A.M.E. Aviation Maintenance Symposium this year. The event will be located at the Victoria Inn, Winnipeg Manitoba, and will kick off on Wednesday March 5th 2008 with a free admission Open House from 5pm to 8pm.

Presentations will begin at 9:00am on Thursday and Friday and will be open to registered guests only.
