Atlas Inspection Technologies, will be conducting a Webinar on the use of Infrared Windows and cameras.
National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) specification NFPA 70E has established guidelines for safe work practices around live electrical components. This is changing how thermographers can conduct thermal inspections of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment.
Infrared Windows help Predictive Maintenance (PdM) thermographers comply with NFPA 70E by allowing them to scan the electrical equipment without opening or removing covers of electrical enclosures. Not opening enclosures makes inspections faster, and reduces 99.9% of the causes of arc flash.
Darren Billings, President of Atlas Inspection Technologies, will be hosting this informative and interesting discussion, which includes video clips, on infrared windows, cameras, their uses, and how they are changing the way companies are handling inspections on switchgear equipment.
