Portable light weight Pipe and Cable Locator by Schonstedt added to the Atlas Inspection Technologies product line.

The Schonstedt XT512 comes in under 2.5 Lbs, with a holster for hands free inspection and features an antenna that retracts into the handle.  This Pipe and Cable Locator is a great tool for determining the depth and location of your pipe or sewer inspection camera, or to locate a small sonde. In addition you’ll find it useful for finding blockages and obstructions in non-metallics such as plastic pipe or conduit  This model operates at 512Hz for precision plus 50/60Hz for passive detection and has a battery life of up to 18 hours of intermittent use.

The Schonstedt XT512 is available for the sale price of $1499.00. In addition, through the end of 2007, for each unit sold, Atlas and Schonstedt together will donate a magnetic locator to the United Nations Mine Action Team.
