Atlas Inspection Technologies, Inc. new fiberscope and videoscope repair technology reduces repair cost and time, and prolongs product life.

This new service allows industrial endoscope (videoscope and fiberscope) users to preserve their significant capital investment by repairing damaged components instead of replacing the entire scope. Atlas Inspection Technologies, Inc. developed this technology to improve product longevity, reduce repair cost and reduce down time due to repair.

Atlas now completes components level repairs of all types of videoscopes. Videoscopes are used to in the Power, Petrochemical, Aviation, and Oil and Gas Industries to visually inspect Gas Turbines, Rotating Equipment, and Process Piping for damage, corrosion and other problems. These videoscope, small diameter optical instruments, are frequently damaged due to the harsh environments in which they are used. Historically videoscope users replaced entire products when damage occurred. In most cases a single component of the scope did not function properly yet the whole scope had to be replaced. This caused inflated repair costs and prolonged turn around times. Atlas Inspection Technologies developed disassembly and repair techniques to preserve the functioning components while repairing the damaged ones. This new service prolongs the products useful life and quickens its return to service.
